Vinyl Cleaning, Repair, and Restoration Services | MARBLELIFE® Pittsburgh
Professional vinyl floor care that cleans, repairs, and renews surfaces across Pittsburgh
MARBLELIFE® Pittsburgh provides professional vinyl cleaning, repair, and restoration services that help floors look brighter, stay safer, and extend their useful life before replacement is needed. Vinyl is a smart choice for many Pittsburgh facilities, including healthcare and medical offices, schools, retail stores, multifamily communities, and busy households, because it is durable and budget friendly. Over time, however, it can hold embedded soil, show scuffs and scratches, and lose its original clarity as finishes wear and residue builds up. Our team uses proven floor care methods along with MARBLELIFE engineered products to remove grime and film efficiently, helping your space look cleaner and more professional with minimal disruption.
We tailor each service to how your floor is used and what it needs right now, from targeted repairs to full floor renewal. After evaluating the surface, we can address scratches, scuffs, and problem seams, deep clean to remove worn finish and stubborn buildup, then restore a more consistent appearance with professional polishing and protective treatments. For facilities aiming to reduce the cycle of stripping and rewaxing, we also offer VinylGUARD, an advanced coating option designed to improve cleanability, support routine disinfection, and help maintain traction in high traffic environments. The result is vinyl flooring that looks more uniform, resists staining better, and remains easier to maintain in Pittsburgh workplaces and homes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Marblelife Pittsburgh services vinyl floors and related vinyl surfaces in residential and commercial settings, including corridors, patient rooms, classrooms, lobbies, kitchens, and support areas. If it is a vinyl walking surface in your property, the team can evaluate it and recommend the right care.
Professional vinyl cleaning with Marblelife goes beyond a quick mop. Technicians remove loose soil, use vinyl safe cleaners to lift embedded grime, and address build up from old finishes so color and pattern show clearly again. The goal is a cleaner, brighter surface that is ready for daily use and future maintenance.
Vinyl repair is ideal when the floor has localized damage such as scratches, gouges, or seam concerns but the rest of the surface is still sound. Marblelife can correct these problem areas and blend the repair into the surrounding floor, which is often faster and more budget friendly than full replacement.
Restoration is a more comprehensive process for worn or aged vinyl. It typically includes detailed cleaning, repair of damaged sections, removal of failing coatings, and application of a fresh protective finish so the floor looks renewed and is easier to maintain. Cleaning alone focuses mainly on soil removal.
VinylGUARD is a durable ceramic coating developed by Marblelife for vinyl and similar surfaces. It replaces traditional wax programs, resists scuffing, reduces the need for buffing, and makes routine cleaning faster while supporting better traction and hygiene in busy environments.
Service frequency depends on traffic and environment. Many commercial facilities schedule regular cleaning and periodic restoration to keep surfaces safe and attractive, while residential floors may only need professional help when they begin to look dull or stained. Marblelife can create a custom maintenance plan after inspecting your space.
Yes. Marblelife designs vinyl solutions with healthcare and education in mind, including coatings that reduce the need for buffing and support cleaner, easier to disinfect floors. This helps facility teams maintain appearance and hygiene standards with less effort and less disturbance to patients, staff, and students.
Marblelife Pittsburgh understands that your floors must stay in service. The local team can schedule work during off hours or slower periods and organize the project in sections so your staff, guests, or patients can keep moving safely while improvements are completed.
In most cases Marblelife simply asks that loose items and small furniture be removed from work areas. The crew will protect adjacent surfaces as needed and handle the technical preparation. Your estimator will outline any special steps before the service date so you know exactly what to expect.
Yes. After service, technicians can recommend Marblelife cleaners and care routines that match your facility and traffic level, helping you maintain the refreshed look longer between professional visits. You receive practical tips so in house staff can clean effectively without damaging your vinyl or its protective coating.
Posted on Ludwig ReimmerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I hired MARBLELIFE Pittsburgh for a quartz kitchen sink recut and was extremely pleased. Bob did exceptional work, surpassing what my wife and I expected. Communication was timely, and the quoted price matched the final cost. Highly recommend their reliable, professional service—definitely a 5+ star experience!Posted on wade saucierTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Pittsburgh Marblelife team was excellent. Restored an old 84 year old stone floor that had some water damage to the stones. Very happy with the results. At first we were going to place a wall to wall rug in the room. But after the restoration we decided to keep the floor exposed due to the fine restoration work. Thank you!Posted on Kalena ThomhaveTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a great experience with MARBLELIFE and Bob, and wholeheartedly recommend them. Bob and his team cleaned, honed, and sealed my kitchen countertops, and they look so beautiful. I’m not usually a review writer, but I have also never experienced being in love with kitchen counters. My partner and I are doing a low-cost “remodel” of our kitchen—you know, new paint job, new lighting fixtures, and other changes that don’t mean gutting and renovating and tens of thousands of dollars. Our granite countertops were perfectly useable, but I didn’t really like them. However, I knew replacing them would not only be wasteful, but also super expensive. I did some research, and I thought that getting them honed to a matte finish would make them fit the style of the kitchen better. Before I talked to Bob at MARBLELIFE, I talked to a couple other fabricators who weren’t interested in tackling our counters. And I think I get why—it would not only be a hard project, but matte counters are more finicky, so customers might not be pleased with the additional care needed. But Bob was totally open to honing our countertops! He was very communicative—we talked mostly by text, which is nice for millennials and also because I could easily pull up our conversation if I forgot details of something he said, and we also connected over the phone. Pricing was clear and reasonable with no surprises. Bob and his team completed the job quickly and even left us some sealant for the next time the counters need it. AND THEY LOOK SO GOOD! This review is getting too long, but let me just say if you’re thinking about a matte finish: the colors of the stone are so much richer and it’s also so clear the counters are made of NATURAL STONE. Yes we need to be better about taking care of it, but I don’t mind. If I knew more about granite and stone I know I could say more about how professional Bob was, but I can say that it is clear he’s both an expert and a good and reliable businessperson. If and when we have any other issues with stone or tile, I know who we will be calling!Posted on Marianne DeanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Kristen and Bob were very responsive, timely and professional. They repaired a large scratch in my corian countertop, replaced the caulking and repaired a chip in my ceramic tile floor. Their work was incredible. The Corian and the ceramic tile look like the day I bought them. I highly recommend Marblelife!Posted on Rocky MedureTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Bob and his team restored our slate floor and did an absolutely amazing job. Their care and effort shine through. Huge thanks to them for excellent customer service and thoughtfulness.Posted on Jane PTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Superb workmanship and excellent service! We have a 20-yr old travertine bathroom and shower that had never been professionally cleaned before. Bob and his team were able to clean/sand away etching and stains from the counter and shower entry and deep clean the shower, removing soap scum and mildew. It looks as good as it did 20 years ago! Bob also cleaned and sealed our granite kitchen counter. We had a sink that was installed without proper supports and we have dealt with leaks along the rim for years. Because Bob has experience with stone installation, he was able to reinstall the sink with proper supports - it has never been more secure. Throughout the process, Bob consults you to make sure you are happy with what they are doing and will adjust as needed. We couldn't be happier with the service and will use Bob on a regular basis for deep cleaning and resealing.Posted on Jim HarpsterTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our countertop was damaged by the stove installers. Bob and his wife came to the rescue and made our countertop look like it as brand new! He was fast, clean and efficient!Posted on innocentrage1Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a stress fracture crack in my quartz countertop and Bob came out and looked at it and told me because it was quartz, a man made stone, he could glue it back together but it was highly possible that in a year or two it may crack again and suggested a new countertop may be the better option. Bob has many years experience in this business and had a list of contacts he provided me. I contacted one of those contacts and got a beautiful new countertop that was way better than the crafmanship of my old countertops done by a chain retail store. Even though Bob did not get my business this time I will be using him in the future for any services with my new countertops. I admire him for helping me and making suggestions even though it didn't make him a profit. A lot of companies would of just taken my money with a quick glue fix and I would have run into the same problem later down the road.Posted on John BaronTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Bob and his team were fantastic. They went out of their way to get me out of a situation concerning a marble mosaic floor and exceeded all my expectations. Can’t thank them enough.Posted on Rob RikerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. These guys really over-delivered! We understood that the 136 yrs of baked-on soot were likely to be impossible to clean completely, and confirmed with several quotes. But they gave it a ton of time and attention and got it much further than we dared hope. A good bit of structural repair and an exceptional attention to detail rounded out a great project. They were reliable schedulers and good communicators, both rare to find in in-home contractors. Looking forward to having them back to help with more fireplaces. One warning: for work like this with structural repair it would be good to schedule when windows can be open, as their epoxy has a powerful odor! Was eager to leave this review & share our enthusiasm.Load more
